Bozal Cuishe – Mezcal Artesanal

Wildly refined.

Crafted in Zochitlan Río Seco, Oaxaca, this mezcal is made from wild Cuishe maguey (Agave karwinskii), a varietal known for its tall, slender growth and dense, fibrous piña. Growing on steep and rugged hillsides, Cuishe is difficult to harvest and slow to yield, but rewards the process with striking intensity and depth. Distilled using traditional methods, this mezcal captures the raw, untamed character of wild agave while expressing balance and precision in the glass.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Crystal clear and bright.
Aroma: Smoky and vegetal, with notes of cucumber, chamomile, cumin, cardamom, vanilla, and flashes of citrus like kumquat and lime zest.
Palate: Smooth and mineral at the entry, revealing green vegetal tones, tropical fruit, subtle sweetness, and savory salinity.
Finish: Dry and smoky with lingering minerality, accented by hints of raw cacao, cinnamon, and copper.
